Many Nice Photos?
Winamac and Southern Railroad
I call BS here and now. If you got "many nice photos" as you claim to have you should have posted them in your thread.

Detroit I-75
Detroit I-75
My son and I are travelling from Port Huron Michigan to Deshler Ohio in a couple of weeks, and try as I might on various websites,I can't find out the status of I-75 thru Detroit.
Are there still blockages in the area of the Ambassador bridge?
Thanks to anyone who's familiar with that area.
I know Michigan is fucked up and all, but I'm sure it still has an operating Department of Transportation with a website that details this kind of stuff. Why even bother asking on Trainorders?

Digital Trolls
Fujichrome Velvia 100 35mm slide film
Why must digital fanbois constantly parade their digital queerness up and down Trainorders? But what else would you expect from a Frisco steam fan? If you want to troll, Friscoboi, do so in your own venue like the Yakuza and don't muddy up an honest question thread. This digital chest thumping reminds me more and more of a fucking pride parade.

Stopped Clocks in Berea
End of an Era in Berea
Sometimes a cliche is appropriate. Then again, sometimes a stopped clock really does get it right. It's taken "RichK" years of photography and countless photos to make one actually worth sharing. You'll find more photos of this spot on Railpictures.net than you can shake a stick at, almost all of them taken by our fearless clock. So thanks, RichK, for finally contributing a worthwhile photo. We at the Yakuza look forward to seeing the next from you in another five years.

Third fruit train
Everyone's favorite ding-dong, bnsf4774, is back posting now about a third "Q090" run. Does this mean he's going to ask three times a week for an update on its status? God, I hope not.

The Chaleur to Gaspe?
The Chaleur to Gaspe?
This guy needs to change his handle to "royalpain." All he does is bitch about nothing. So what if you don't get to ride a train? You're in Canada, the buses aren't filled with needle junkies and runaways. Get a grip, you're paying for transportation, plain and simple. If you want total control of your life then take your own damn car and leave the train in the station, you won't have to worry about how far it goes.

Vindication for Sanity
Another post has popped up asking that the contests be split off into a separate forum.
Not to be a KNUCKLEHEAD but
Knucklehead or not, you're still no Todd Clark!

Too Good To Be True
It should seem fitting that a call for a special contest forum on Trainorders would be taken down within hours of its posting. After all Todd is hypersensitive to any criticism regarding his mismanagement of the site. Now the contest is driving more forum traffic, but not for the betterment of the site. There are now twenty-two new threads on the "Eastern Railroad Discussion" board today but fifteen of them are contest entries. What a waste. Just remember, folks, winning the Trainorders photo contest is like winning the Special Olympics, in the ends you're still retarded.

Finally A Useful Thread
Why can't there be a contest forum?
Finally, a thread on Trainorders that the Yakuza can get behind! So to those out there who think we only deride what we see online, think again. This is the best thread to show up on Trainorders in month and we wholeheartedly support it. We are the Railroad Yakuza and we approve of this message!

Can Amrak's Board be fired?
Can Amrak's Board be fired?
Honestly, aren't we getting way ahead of ourselves here? It's entirely possible that after bailing out the financial industry, the auto industry, and everything else in our "free market" economy there simply won't be money left to bail out Amtrak. Maybe, just maybe, you were baited and fell for it hook, line, and sinker and any Amtrak "promises" that were read between the lines will turn out to be just campaigning hype. Wouldn't that be stupid on an epic scale, to vote for a candidate simply because you thought you would have more trains to photograph and ride? If that's how railfans think I'm embarrassed to be associated with them.

Hamtards leaving the hamfest early
If you're going to organize an event and schedule it for 8am-2pm, it'd damn well better run 'til 2pm!
I went to the hamfest today in Lawrenceville, GA at about 11am thinking "Eh, I'll have missed the bargains but I'll see what else is there". It was half gone already. Even the Kenwood rep was packing up and leaving. Not even noon yet. This especially makes me mad after I paid $8 to get in.
